Joaquin Jimenez, Mayor of Half Moon Bay
A longtime community advocate and organizer, Joaquin Jimenez is the first Mexican immigrant elected to Half Moon Bay City Council. Prior to his council service, he championed farmworkers' rights at ALAS and Puente de la Costa Sur. Joaquin’s dedication to the coastside community is centered in securing resources for families, farmers, and collaborating with local organizations.
